November Update Issues

It appears that some devices may have update issues with the November release, no consistent root cause has been found so far. So far this has only impacted A/B devices (Pixel 5/6/7).

The issue occurs after the update, with the device reporting that the system is corrupt.

To fix the issue you must manually reapply the update through ADB:

  • Download the most recent update to your computer.
  • Restart the device in recovery mode.
  • Apply the update.
  • Restart the device to system.

If prompted, do not do a factory reset or you will lose your data.

As always, it is recommended to backup your data before any update.
