The Wunderment Progressive Web Application (PWA) repository is an F-Droid repository of PWA’s for Android.
Each PWA is a full fledged Android application that uses the system webview in Android to host the PWA.
Why do it this way instead of just using an application like WebApps or Firefox/Chrome’s support for PWAs? There are a few advantages to making them full Android apps:
- Appears in the app drawer
- Can have permissions set individually
- Reports battery and network usage individually
- Has the correct icon for the PWA in the task list
