Wunderment 19 and the Oneplus 9
LineageOS has released Android 12 for the Oneplus 9, however Wunderment 19 is going to be delayed for it. With the move to Android 12, OxygenOS has made significant changes to the underlying system, this has created two issues: Many new partitions that need to be reviewed to see if they should be included, and if so, if it’s possible. Relocking the bootloader is currently not working. Investigation on both issues is underway, however, for the time being, the Oneplus 9 will remain on Android 11. Updates will be provided as more is known.

Warning: Oneplus 7 (guacamoleb) May update
This is a warning for the Oneplus 7 May update, during testing a bug was encountered during the first test update that has proven to be unreproducible. Both the home and overview buttons stopped functioning after the update and required a factory reset to recover. All other functionality seemed unaffected by the issue. As such, make sure to backup your data and if you encounter this issue, be prepared to do a factory reset and restore. As the Oneplus 7 is still on LineageOS 17.1, and 17.1 is no longer officially supported by Lineage, this device may be discontinued at any time if other issues arise.
May Security Updates and WundermentOS 19
The May security updates for Android 11 based devices are now up and available for WundermentOS, and as mentioned previously WundermentOS 12 is in good shape for release. As such, the May releases for fajita, enchilada, flame, and gts4lvwifi will be delayed a few days to allow for additional testing of the upgrade process.
WundermentOS 19: May 5th Update
As mentioned previously, work on getting WundermentOS 19 functioning has been underway with the last remaining hurdle being the Network Location provider code. Good news, it is now functional and WundermentOS 19 is in the final testing stages for three official devices: Oneplus 6 (enchilada) Oneplus 6T (fajita) Google Pixel 4 (flame) And one unofficial device: Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e (gts4lvwifi) The May AOSP security patches should be out next week, and integrated in to LineageOS sometime later. Depending on when these drop and how final testing goes, the next releases for these devices may be moved to Android 12.
LineageOS 19
Offical LineageOS 19 was released today, with support for the OnePlus 6/6T & Google Pixel 4 that WundermentOS supports. I’m sure more devices will be coming along shortly as the maintainers get them up to speed. Unfortunatly, some devices will not be able to support Android 12 due to some under the hood changes that Google has made to the network code. Exactly which devices this will be remains to be seen, but 18.1 will continue to be built for these devices. Work has been started on porting WundermentOS to 19, and test builds have been running for a while. All functionality has been maintained with the exception of the Network Location Provider (NLP). NLP is currently not working with Android 12, but as soon as it had been updated it will be included.

OnePlus 6/6T support deprecated
Unfortuantly, as we move further away from the release of a phone, the vendor provides less and less support until they finally stop providing any updates. We have reached that point late last year for the OnePlus 6 and 6T and as such, WundermentOS has now moved in to a deprecated state for this device. What does that mean? Builds will continue to be created for the device, but without vendor support, no new security patches for the proprietary blobs will be included. Builds will continue to include security updates that are published in the monthly AOSP security bulletins. Future major updates (like to Android 12) may or may not become available depending upon LineageOS support for those updates as well as if they are secure (aka SELinux enforcing enabled). Installation guides and videos will not be updated. So what should you do? If possible, upgrade your phone to a…
